Do you remember that story about the boy from Orderville Utah who saved the wool scraps and sold them to make some money to buy a new style of pants in the next town over and he was all the rage when he showed up at a dance wearing them and the town elders made him hand over the pants and they were dismantled and used as a pattern to make sweet new pants for all the boys in Orderville. the only problem of course is that, as everyone knows, as soon as everyone has a pair of cool pants, then they're not cool anymore.
